ViveSpoon Inc. is a company originating from research at Kanazawa University and conducting research and development of software that supports eating-disorder care.
This policy explains how ViveSpoon uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.
For broader information handling, please also refer to our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored in a browser or device when a website is visited.
They may be used to keep a website secure and functional, remember display settings, and support technical operation.
2. How ViveSpoon uses cookies and similar technologies
At present, this website does not itself set cookies for language selection, advertising, or analytics. Language is selected through explicit Japanese and English URLs. If a visitor selects a colour theme, that preference is stored in the browser’s localStorage.
The delivery infrastructure may process cookies or similar technical information for the following purposes:
- Delivering the website securely and reliably
- Remembering a colour theme selected by the visitor
- Supporting technical records required by the hosting and delivery environment
We do not currently use advertising cookies.
If we later introduce analytics or measurement cookies, we will describe that change in this policy or another relevant notice.
3. Third-party service providers
This website uses external infrastructure services, including Cloudflare Pages.
Those providers may process technical information such as IP address, access time, browser information, and cookies where necessary to deliver, secure, or maintain the website.
4. Relevance under Japanese and Australian privacy frameworks
Technical identifiers such as cookies may not always identify a person by themselves, but they may be treated as personal or related information when combined with other data.
ViveSpoon aims to describe its use of cookies in a manner consistent with the Japanese Act on the Protection of Personal Information and with Australian privacy expectations concerning online identifiers and technical information.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers allow users to restrict, delete, or disable cookies.
Language switching remains available through links when cookies are disabled. If localStorage is disabled or cleared, a selected colour theme may not be retained.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, service providers, or website functionality.
The updated version becomes effective when posted on this page.
