A commercialisation project proposed by Masafumi Kameya before incorporation was selected by Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) as an intended grant recipient under the FY2026 NEP YAKUSHIN Course.
NEDO’s published list identifies proposal number 26NP12116 in the YAKUSHIN 3000 category. Because the application was made before the company was established, the public list identifies Masafumi Kameya as the individual proposer rather than ViveSpoon Inc.
NEDO reported that 33 intended grant recipients were selected from 241 applications across the FY2026 YAKUSHIN Course. Under the programme rules, YAKUSHIN 3000 provides for eligible project expenses of up to JPY 30 million at a subsidy rate of 100 per cent.
JPY 30 million is the programme ceiling. It is not a statement of the individual grant decision, contract value, or funds received by ViveSpoon or this proposal. The selection also does not indicate regulatory approval or public availability of Spoon DTx.
